Spikie didn’t mean to frighten the venerable sage of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. He just wanted to show the Face of Everyman how much his antlers had grown. Nonetheless Everyman awoke with a fright as he dimly saw Satan leering at him thru the darkness.
