Pembrook had discovered the ancient practice of Sunrise Viewing. Rising before dawn in the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa he positioned himself to catch the first rays. Alas, fog obscured that magic moment. the Face of Everyman used such days to sleep in.

Disagreements

At first the Face of Everyman couldn’t believe his ears; these two argued about everything: politics, religion, where best to hunt worms, etc. With all this beauty around them in the form of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa, one would think that they would find a lot less to disagree about.

Flashbulbs

Big Guy knew that celebrity status came with a price even here in the remote Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman had assigned a paparazzi to shadow the buck and learn the true size of his harem. Big Guy had hoped that he could just get on with his life without the cameras and flashbulbs.

Attack

The attack came swiftly and was without mercy. Luckily the Face of Everyman’s body was impenetrable. Most guests in the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa were deep asleep and the incident passed without notice.

Emergency Rations

During the recent Earthquake Preparedness Drill Darth learned that he had insufficient supply of French Fries to last three days. He wished that he could grow his own here in the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Of course, the Face of Everyman was reluctant to carry them in the company store. It wasn’t as tho’ they were really bird food. Are they?

Stakeout

Archibald is headed home after an hours long stakeout at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. In his mind he ran thru a litany of complaints that had kept him from catching a bird: deer browsing, raccoons, wind & rain, blowing leaves. He had a good mind to stop by the Bodega and splurge on a can of minced canary. At least the Face of Everyman didn’t wake up and start to lecture him on the sanctity of life.

Dips a Toe

There are always those for whom everything must be just right; even at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Seen above is a particular guest who always dips a toe before plunging in the healthful waters. the Face of Everyman always wonders about these folks and the stress it must have had on their mothers.

Satan

Spikie didn’t mean to frighten the venerable sage of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. He just wanted to show the Face of Everyman how much his antlers had grown. Nonetheless Everyman awoke with a fright as he dimly saw Satan leering at him thru the darkness.

Bonfire?

The judge had ordered Johnny Dark Eyes to perform thirty days of community service at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. He caught the Face of Everyman unawares when he reported for duty and suggested that he begin work on the Halloween parade, party and bonfire. The thought of songbirds building a bonfire terrified the venerable sage.
