The ruling from SDNY was clear: the Face of Everyman could not serve as an elected official.  However, he could be a Super Delegate representing those votes cast by the year round residents of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. The venerable sage did not take this setback lightly; he wanted on a debate stage.  He drafted a new petition. He would not be excluded from the limelight.

Cold mornings are a shock to some of the songbirds roosting in the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa.  Calliope made a request to the Face of Everyman to turn up the heat in the Spa.  Alas, the vast magma pool under the lake could not be adjusted.  The wading area at the far end, which is usually warmer, is the best that the venerable sage has to offer.

the Face of Everyman had celebrated Chinese New Year’s by downing a record number of steam buns and a few tankards of  Tsingtao ( 青岛) beer.  He awoke to find himself still in the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa.  Diaphanous birds circled his head.  Had he died and gone to Hard Rock heaven?  Was this a prequel or a sequel to his torturous life?

Heloise was back with fire in her eyes.  She demanded to know why the kindly ol’ pensioner provided winter rations to the likes of rodents; when she and others had to subsist on cold spider webs and dead mealy bugs.  Where in the charter of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa did it say that preference would be given any one species?  A nice feeder filled with high fructose sugars would placate her thought the Face of Everyman.

the Face of Everyman was from the school of Cinema Verite.  When the Raptor attempted to kill the innocent guest of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa it was only fair that the few frames showing the victims feathers wafting to the ground be forever memorialized in this blog.

The Reverend Farnsworth had been chosen to speak at a ceremony Monday at noon.  The entire village and all guests of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa would gather.  The good reverend spent most of Saturday morning practicing his moves. the Face of Everyman alerted the grounds crew to double their trash pick up efforts.  All community service parolees were conscripted.  The grounds remained immaculate.

The blizzard had produced white out conditions at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa.  The few guests present were entertained in the casino with bingo.  When the storm abated the Face of Everyman sent in his reports of snow fall depth to the weather bureau. New records were being set daily.  A TV crew got stuck in the snow in route to televise the venerable sage giving an on scene report of the horrific aftermath.

Members of the famed Polar Bear Club from the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa had complained that the entrances to the Cabana Hut changing rooms were too small.  Well fed songbirds had a hard time getting in and out.  OSHA sent an inspector to evaluate their claim.  The report disclosed that few modern songbirds were that small.  A federal grant would be awarded to the Face of Everyman to increase the size of existing holes.  A prestiges ivy league body measurement standard would be used as a guide.
