During the soliloquy Gielgud addressed the 4th wall and asked the little man in the front row, “How’m I doing?” Critics had a ball with this departure from the Bard’s famous lines. The Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa gained new approbation. the Face of Everyman researched more works of Shakespear.
Overservice
It was one of those days. Bart had a hard time getting up on the bar stool at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman threatened to “86” him. The venerable sage didn’t believe in overservice to patrons.
World Hunger
It was supposed to be a photo shoot illustrating World Hunger, but this was the best they could do. The Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa was high in the food chain. It seemed a mockery, but stale cracker was the best the Face of Everyman could provide.
Census
The Pigeon census was but a guess sometimes when there was visual interference. the Face of Everyman tried his best but, often his duties at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa took priority.
Tight Rope Walking
Jerrod practiced tight rope walking whenever he had a chance. He dreamed of joining the circus and doing high wire routines without a net. the Face of Everyman refused to authorize a safety net in the lush gardens of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa.
Golden Handshake
The comedy team of Whipsaw and Schroder came out of retirement long enough to do a benefit gig at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman was having a good time until he found out it was a warm-up to his Golden Handshake event.
Bread
The soaking of bread became a ritual at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman objected only because it sullied the scared waters.
Tempers
Tempers ran short when the cookies ran short. Each said the other had had the last one. Normally the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa buffet table didn’t serve desserts. Somehow today was different. the Face of Everyman would look into this lapse in judgement.
Orts
The Crows blamed each other for missing out on the breakfast buffet served mornings at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman noted that orts were not good enough for this regal bird.
