the Face of Everyman was always a bit uncomfortable when a Murder of Crows performed their lavation, a catharsis, at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa after dispensing a particularly gruesome act of justice. The venerable sage looked forward to reading the Obit.
Anastasiya
A heat wave struck the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Anastasiya, thought by many to be the reincarnation of the last Romanov, left the seclusion of her small cote to complain that the air conditioning was not working. the Face of Everyman duly noted the problem and vowed that someone would be out by Tuesday; Thursday at the latest.
League of Women Voters
The motion had been put to a vote and passed. Henceforth the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa Scrap Booking Club would be known as The League of Women Voters. the Face of Everyman was quick to assure them that he had already mailed his ballot.
Noritake
Lester and Camille had his parents over for dinner at their new home near the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Camille thought that things had gone well until she realized his Mom had “Sniffed” at the Willow pattern dishes. God, how she now wished that she had borrowed the Noritake from the Face of Everyman when he had offered.
Gravity
The Dog Days Of Summer brought on a state of lethargy in the Face of Everyman. When he did stir, strange things happened. Seen above, he has briefly suspended gravity and other laws of Physics. Luckily in such a torpid state nothing outside of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa is effected. [Well, maybe, but not for long.]
Declined
Jonah was fit to be tied. The honey moon suite at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa was undergoing renovation. Their luggage was misrouted to Denver and his Platinum Card was declined. the Face of Everyman completely understood that level of exasperation. He offered the newly weds three nights in a small AirB&B, complements of one of his vast holding companies.
Glance
The most predacious of them all is Panther. She prowls the vast grounds of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa almost at will. Seen above she casts a glance at the Face of Everyman. Perhaps a small bird is perched there and can be caught unawares.

Man Up
In a dramatic portrayal of Uncle Tom’s Cabin in the Summer stock theater of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa we see Eliza crossing the frozen Ohio river on the ice floes. the Face of Everyman had been unaware that he had been cast. But “man up” he did and added it to his actor’s resume.
New Family
The Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa prided itself on a Family Photo Studio which produced exceptional Baby photos. Seen above is a recalcitrant fledgeling who is unwilling to look at the camera. The new parents were at a loss as to what to do. the Face of Everyman chose not to intervene and let matters take their course. They rescheduled for next Saturday.
Socrates
Socrates plans a career in law. He may become the first citizen of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa to obtain a degree. Seen above he is in Day Two of a rigorous regime of discussion utilizing the Socratic method. As time went on even the venerable sage began to question the assumption of the Face of Everyman.
