Johnny Dark Eyes dropped into the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. He was out of the lockup: time served. He had hoped to pay his respects to his mother, but she seemed elsewhere. the Face of Everyman agreed to speak to her upon her return.
Time Served
Pronoun?
As it turns out, the venerable sage had thought that this bird migrated South to Mexico. But, no, it roams the western part of its territory and stays close to the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Because of the dramatic change in Winter coloring the Face of Everyman wasn’t sure which pronoun to use in addressing this visitor.
Huntress
The Cat has stationed herself near the French fries expecting a Crow to swoop in for a culinary feast in the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman tried to explain how obvious she appeared. The cat soon left; she was a better huntress in the dark. She came back at midnight.
Searching
Skeeter was always searching for answers. The Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa was a vast empire with so many unanswered questions. the Face of Everyman kinda’ liked it that way.
Tantrum
You could lead Baby Huey to water, but you couldn’t make him bathe. The Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa let parents handle this problem on their own. the Face of Everyman had advertised for a position as Water Counsellor, but hiring was put off till next season.
Rancid
the Face of Everyman cleverly balanced the books by serving his stock of rancid birdseed. Mostly it was the deer who enjoyed the largesse of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Birds found it too tangy for them.
Cat
Not Our Cat started visiting the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa on a regular basis. the Face of Everyman tried to explain that this was a UNESCO World Heritage Site and hunting and killing were not permitted.
Famine?
An angry crowd gathered outside the boundaries of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa demanding more birdseed be made available. What was the Face of Everyman to do? Open the reserve granaries? Those were kept in case of famine. Besides Raccoon weren’t birds.
Searching
With the dearth of avian activity, the kindle ol’ pensioner was forced to use a file photo of Boots searching for something to eat outside the boundaries of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman got a good night’s sleep; for once.
Fresh Paint
Bellicose was unsure of himself as he entered the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Was that a Doe who was ready or was that the smell of fresh paint on the manor house? the Face of Everyman suggested that he return after the paint had dried.
