The Pacific Flyway always seems to have it’s share of troublemakers. Jagger’s arrival at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa made life no easier for the Face of Everyman. The venerable sage was powerless to deal with this roving thug; many of the security forces were in self isolation due to the pandemic.
Sonny was out of prison and eager to show off his new ink to all who could admire the beauty of the new lines. Johnny Dark Eyes was back; armed with new schemes for the good folks at the Foggy bottoms Resort and Spa. He announced a new lottery with big jackpots. An AirBnB plan that one could buy into like a time share as well as shares in the Tucker and Studebaker automobile companies. Little did he know that on first sight the Face of Everyman had already “dropped the dime” on him to the Feds.
Bernie amazed his friends with his new found skills. Seen above, he is demonstrating the back stroke on the placid waters of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman hoped that there was still time to enter this young athlete in the FINA World Cup of Disciplined Swimming. If eligible, Bernie could compete in Abu Dhabi this December and Tokyo next Summer.
Fall at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa meant that the Circuit RiderFather Robin has returned to tend his flock. Thick fog kept most folks away from any formal services. the Face of Everyman offered to rig some lights and move a few pews into a more casual arrangement.
The Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa was hit with it’s first lawsuit. The suit brought by D. B. Cooper alleged that it was unfair to post his likeness in public places in-as-much as he was on the FBI’s most wanted list. the Face of Everyman intervened by removing the offensive photos from all public places. He did leave one in the village post office where previous likenesses had been posted since his disappearance in the skies over Oregon in November 1971.
The debate had been screened on the enormous jumbotron at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Vincent, a normally mild sort, was quick to put Draco, the village bully, in his place using techniques learned that evening. The next debates promised not to be the side show like the first, instead, the Face of Everyman decided to show re-runs of popular telenovelas. What’s not to like about love, intrigue and betrayal. He hoped that Univision was still available on his cable plan.
the Face of Everyman often dreamed of resigning his post at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa and moving to Hawaii. There he’d join up with some white hot, fast moving lava flow and go for the complete make over. He tired of the constant kerfuffle hereabouts, especially when fledglings came to bathe.
