Tabby’s feelings were hurt. She came all this way to play with the birds of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa and they just flew off. the Face of Everyman thought to himself, “What did you expect? Cats have been know to eat birds.”
Today Cheeky was worried about the threat of Hurricanes devastating the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman assured him that wasn’t going to happen any time soon. Or, at least, he didn’t think so.
the Face of Everyman often had trouble identifying young songbirds who visited the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. So . . . he put this one in the Butter-butt category.
Grainy security camera footage suggested that this was an Opossum. This was a first in the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman reckoned that he would back. Stay tuned.
Jasmine was a bit different. She drank only from the clear waters of the spring. The Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa waters always tasted a bit used to her. the Face of Everyman couldn’t agree more.
The pigeons at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa knew they were having fun when they stumbled all over each other. the Face of Everyman hated every minute of it; but what was he to do.
A spate of cool weather brought the return of a Robin, albeit a juvenile, to the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. He was too early for worms. the Face of Everyman wondered how long this dry spell would continue.
Brer Rabbit is off to visit the Face of Everyman at his home in the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. He seems to not have a care in the world. Of course, he hasn’t yet met the Tar Baby.
All of a sudden the Face of Everyman was nearly crushed by a herd of stampeding deer. The daily allotment of birdseed meant for the songbirds and guests of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa was gone; swept up these gluttons.
Bascombe was glad to be alive. He felt special; perhaps even royal. A golden crown marked him as such. The folks at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa should take note. the Face of Everyman was aware of some two million sparrows like him that migrated thru here every year. So much for being special.
