Jubilation liked to relive the Civil War with hypothetical questions and prepositus answers. Characters like him were a dime a dozen at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman was forced to listen. What else could he do?
Know it all
Brawl
Last night a fight in the lounge of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa emptied into a brawl outside. Several Cabana Huts were damaged. The insurance agent was a tough nut, and the Face of Everyman wasn’t sure there would be an equitable settlement.
Nectar
This guy is waiting patiently for the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa Food Bank to open. He had been promised two jars of nectar. the Face of Everyman was trying to fill every person’s needs. Hopefully the Honey Suckle vine would flower soon.
UNESCO
It was a dry night, and the local Tabby was out hunting in the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. It was his nature, but the Face of Everyman admonished him for hunting in this UNESCO Heritage site.
Surtax
Humphrey resented the surtax charged for feeders. The Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa operated at a loss much of the winter, so feeders have a surcharge on top of room rentals. the Face of Everyman had to look for every opportunity just to break even.
Vintage
A blast from the past. the Face of Everyman had almost forgotten what colorful Wild Canaries looked like. Hopefully the Spring would bring new guests to the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. This scene is from September of 2020.
Bathing
Little Billy always complained about having to bathe even though the life-giving waters of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa made his cough better. Mom made sure he washed behind his ears. the Face of Everyman wondered why that act always seemed so important.
Never
It was open mic night at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Mullard’s jokes were dull and overused. The hecklers were in the crowd and made it all the more difficult to perform. the Face of Everyman called the next performer on stage. Mullard closed with a bow. Also, a vow “never again.”
Pious
Every time Larry got drunk, he put a dent in the ambience of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. He would rant against the oft pious attitude of the Face of Everyman. What was the venerable sage to do? He had a position to uphold.
Gratuity
the Face of Everyman catered the celebration of the New Year for the Crow Clan. Dunking for pretzels was one of their favorite pastimes. The Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa was searched high and low for a bag with an outdated best by date. The Crows left a generous tip.
