“Wait! Is that a raccoon coming? I’ll cut this short. Seeya’ next Friday, same time.” Cats, like Herman always liked to visit the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa and spend quality time with the Face of Everyman.
The Visit
Leaf
Everyone became suspicious of the leaf floating in the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa and were reluctant to bathe. After a few words of encouragement from the Face of Everyman, Betty and Roscoe jumped right in and forgot about the leaf.
Blackeye
Fighting after school was a family trait in the Mullard household. So much so, that Dad was sorta’ proud of little Henry. Blackeye and all. the Face of Everyman withheld his comments.
Ravenous
Johnaton Livingston was hungry, and he tried to join the murder of Crows that hung out at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. They would have none of it and drove him off. the Face of Everyman was pleased; he couldn’t afford one more ravenous mouth to feed.
Sleep Walking
The blinding flash awoke Badstrap. Had he been sleep walking? Strange things happened in the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa after sundown. the Face of Everyman could attest to many. Some he slept thru.
Oath
Petroc took the oath of office as mayor of the small village next to the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. It was a solemn ceremony; his right hand on the Face of Everyman.
Ice Rink
As the water level receded Johnny Dark Eyes gave frequent reports to the Face of Everyman. It may be time to turn the pumps at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Adequate water was needed to create the ice rink for afternoon skating.
Spin?
Despite the rain one of the Bergdorf Twins decided to play spin the bottle with the venerable sage of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman, inwardly shuddered, but, chalked this up to his overwhelming popularity.
Charity
He made one last year-end plea on his Go Fund Me site for money to pay medical bills for his deformed ankle repair. The Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa had a limited charity audience, so little money was forth coming. Even the Face of Everyman had a heart of stone.
