Once again it was an awkward moment at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Neither could remember the Protocol applicable here. Was it “First come, first served?” “Age before beauty?” “Ladies first?” Or alphabetical by taxonomic rank? Bathing together never seemed an option.

These are exciting times at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. The Reverend Lambda has performed several matrimonial unions just this past week. Seen here are Mavis and Doris joined at last. The good Reverend completing his solemn officiating with his signature flamboyant gesture. A true blessing for the new couple.
Nigel
Nigel had just completed the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa mandatory Life Guard training in CPR with the much coveted Heavy Surf endorsement. Yet somehow, even after rigorous training and demanding testing, he froze when a real life rescue situation occurred.
Parade
Little Squash Blossom had heard that there would be a torch light parade at the the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. It was noon already and there was no sign of any such activity. Reluctantly she returned to her family nest for her 2nd nap of the day and perhaps a snack.
Newcomer
Everyone wanted to make the newcomer feel welcome at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa but it was difficult at times. Seems he didn’t eat the same brand of Barleycorn as regular folks around these here parts.
Uncle Harry
Mom always said that Uncle Harry wasn’t our real Uncle but he would show up at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa at odd times of the year and bring us kids souvenirs from famous places he had visited. Mostly they were stolen hotel ash trays but we thought they were special.
