the Face of Everyman was always pleased to greet a new comer. This shy lady was looking for nesting material. The venerable sage was pleased to tell her that the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa kept a box of useful feathers, moss, twigs and bits of string behind the Cabana huts. The village garden supply kept mud and spider web on hand, if needed.
This young sprout had disappointment written all over her face. Today was meant to be a day at the fabulous beachfront of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. Now an unseasonable high tide kept her from her enjoyment. the Face of Everyman suggested that she spend her time at the amusement park till the tide receded. He gave her a free pass and two complementary tickets on the roller coaster.
Baby Huey did not want to get out of the water. The waters of the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa were most soothing and beneficial. He was intransigent; that is until Mom showed up and insisted that he leave. the Face of Everyman sighed a sigh of relief. Birds that big usually sat on his face while toweling off.
Following a spate of logging in mountainous forests a family of immigrants, who had lost everything, passed thru the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. the Face of Everyman extended the helping hand of charity but admitted that pine cones were scarce in these low land forests.
Elrod had been a stellar student, 4.0 GPA, Eagle Scout and class president. Slowly his mental faculties failed him and he slipped into homelessness. The Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa Mental Clinic could not help him. The charity of the Resort and Spa provided his only lifeline. Occasionally the Face of Everyman saved a little something to give to Elrod. Unfortunately today the venerable sage forgot.
Oswald, the Enforcer always liked to make an entrance. Fact was that he was really here to give blood at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa annual blood drive. the Face of Everyman‘s voice trembled a bit as he was forced to say that due to flooding at the crossroads today’s blood drive was postponed till next Wednesday. A disappointed Oswald left without a fuss.
Fast Eddie and his team were booked into the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. They were a traveling act demonstrating their skills at impossible pool shots. the Face of Everyman recalled his days on the pool hustler circuit. His moniker had been Eight Ball. Those are bitter sweet memories.
the Face of Everyman tried to pretend that he was asleep; but that wouldn’t work with this guy. He was insistent that he see the guest register for the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. The venerable sage knew his game: lay eggs in the nest of others. He and his Lady would enjoy Spring time fun while others did the heavy lifting of parenthood.
Orpheus tried to explain carefully that he and Eurydice had a nest not far from the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa and that the venerable sage may hear, from time to time, the upsetting cries of hungry baby Crows. Was this a veiled threat to force the Face of Everyman to distribute more and better bird seed?
The new Bear Bar in the village caused an increase in bookings at the Foggy Bottoms Resort and Spa. This pleased the Face of Everyman who warmly greeted this new sector of clientele.
